Fatal Winston County Crash

Winston County, Miss. (WCBI) – A head-on collision killed a Winston County driver.

The accident happened just after 7:30 PM on Brooksville Road.

The car Drew Gordon, 29, was driving collided with a car driven by Eddie Smith, 59.

Smith died at Winston Medical Center. Gordon was treated and released from the hospital.

The Winston County Sheriff’s Department says the crash remains under investigation.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol’s accident reconstruction team will assist in the investigation.
