Sunday: Mostly clear skies will reign again today. By the afternoon, temperatures will be in the mid 90s and feeling slightly worse with heat index values in the upper 90s. If you have plans to cut the grass this afternoon or spend long periods of time outside, make sure to stay hydrated and take frequent breaks! Most of us will stay dry today, but an isolated shower is not out of the question due to daytime heating.
Sunday Night: The chance for an isolated shower continues into the early evening hours. Temperatures will fall into the upper 60s under partly cloudy skies.
Monday – Wednesday: For the first part of the work week, high pressure over the region will leave us with dry, hot conditions. Ample sunshine will require that you drink lots of water and take frequent breaks if you will be outdoors. Highs will be in the mid 90s, and overnight lows will be around 70.
Thursday – Friday: A weak cold front seeks to push through Thursday afternoon and evening which could spark a few showers. The showers could linger into Friday, but most of us will only see cloudy skies. Cooler dewpoints and overnight temperatures will make conditions less humid, but afternoon highs will still hover near the 90 degree mark.
