Firefighters Investigating Norbord Plant Blaze

GUNTOWN, Miss. (WCBI) – Firefighters in Lee County are investigating the cause of a blaze that burned for several hours early Sunday morning.

Several fire departments from both Lee and Union counties responded around 4 a.m. after some dry storage bins at Norbord Plant caught on fire.

Guntown firefighters told WCBI there were people working at Norbord at the time, but the fire just got out of control.

They still don’t know what caused the fire, and they’re still investigating.
