Quiet conditions and reasonably dry air have been the themes during the last few days but an increase in humidity is in order as we go forward this week. The additional moisture combined with a few disturbances means we’ll have a daily chance of showers and storms for the next week or so. Here is the latest detailed forecast:
Tonight: Skies will be mostly clear and lows will be in the mid 60s. The wind will be light and variable.
Tuesday: Expect a mix of sun and clouds along with a 20% chance of a shower or storm. Afternoon highs are expected to be in the low 90s. The wind will be from the SSW between 5 and 10 mph.
Wednesday: Plan on at least a 30% chance of showers and storms as a weak cold front moves in from Tennessee. Highs will remain in the low 90s.
Late Week: Seasonably warm low 90s are expected for highs and there will be a continuing 20% chance of rain each day.
