Things will be a bit unsettled during the next 24 hours but the work week is now expected to end on a fairly quiet note. Here is the latest detailed First Alert Forecast:
Tonight: A few early evening showers and storms are possible but the late evening and most of the overnight hours should be quiet and dry. Another round of storms is possible around daybreak across our northwestern counties. Plan on warm and muggy conditions to persist. Lows will be only in the low to mid 70s and the wind will be light and variable.
Wednesday: A complex of showers and storms is possible during the morning hours and there will likely be some redevelopment during the afternoon and early evening hours. We’re keeping the chance of rain at only 30% but do be aware that some heavy downpours and gusty winds will be possible if you manage to get a storm in your area. High temperatures are expected to be in the low 90s.
Thursday: Mostly sunny skies will return along with a northerly breeze. Slightly less humid conditions are likely but highs will still top out around 90. It should be a perfect day to start off a new month!
Friday: We’ll have a mix of sun and clouds along with seasonably warm conditions. Low 90s are a good bet once again during the afternoon hours.
The Weekend & Beyond: The weather pattern may set up such a way that a few storm complexes may roll in from Tennessee. It’s way to early to time things out exactly but our rain chances will increase if this scenario materializes.
