Video: Former Board Pres. Charged in Water Scandal

[bitsontherun JECsa80L]LEE COUNTY, Miss. – (WCBI) The head of a water association that was dripping in scandal last fall now faces federal charges. Court documents show that Dan Durham, who resigned from the North Lee Water Association last October, will be in Aberdeen Federal Court on December 12, 2012. Durham is expected to take a plea guilty to one count of information. The association was under investigation by the FBI last year. Durham, had asked employees to do odd jobs for him while on the clock. Since then, an entirely new board has been elected and the association’s some four thousand customers have seen an improvement in water ratings.
