Former Mayor’s Widow Looks to Take Vacant Alderman Seat

HATLEY, Miss. (WCBI) — The Town of Hatley has only one resident gunning for a vacant Board of Alderman seat.

Sandra Vaughan, former Mayor Pete Vaughan’s widow, has submitted her name for consideration.

The seat was left vacant after former Alderman George King was elected to fill Vaughan’s position after he died in August.
