Forum Focuses on Future of Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, Miss. (AP) — Officials in Aberdeen are planning a public forum Aug. 14 to collect input for a comprehensive development being crafted for the Monroe County community.

A local newspaper reports the plan is intended to outline strengths and weaknesses the town must deal with in future growth.

The Mississippi State University Stennis Institute of Government and Community Development is guiding the process.

The Aug. 14 meeting will be at 4:30 p.m. at City Hall.
