Four Escape Serious Injury in Tibbee Accident

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Five people escape serious injury in a three-car pile up on busy Highway 45 Alternate in Clay County.

State troopers say a 1998 Nissan Altima driven by Travis Seymore, 33, of Jackson was eastbound on Old West Point Road when he went through the stop sign and hit a 2002 Toyota Tundra driven by Vo Tien, 56, of Starkville.

Tien’s pickup then hit a 1999 GMC Yukon driven by Bobby Gray of Fulton. Seymore’s car ended up in the median. None of the drivers or Fred Wilkinson, 28, of Columbus, a passenger in Seymore’s car, were seriously injured in the accident, which happened at about 2:30 Tuesday afternoon.

All four people were wearing seat belts.
