Brrrrrrrr! We bottomed out in the mid to upper 30s in most places across the area this morning. Crazy stuff considering this is May. Skies will be fairly sunny for the first half of the day but clouds and showers will return by mid to late afternoon. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s. Things are actually looking pretty good for the Market Street Festival in Columbus.
Mostly cloudy skies along with scattered showers will be the rule on Sunday as well. Low 60s or even upper 50s will be the best we can do as that a moving disturbance crosses the Deep South. A breezy NW wind will make things feel even more unpleasant I’m afraid. This could actually end up being the worst day of the weekend.
Temperatures should moderate back into the upper 60s to around 70 on Monday as the system churns off to our east. A few showers or t-showers will be possible during the heating of the day but they will be spotty.
Those warm May-like conditions you are probably looking forward to will return by next Wednesday. Yes!
