Despite morning lows only getting down to the middle 30s, highs will struggle to reach the middle 40s today. Skies will stay mostly cloudy to overcast today, so do not expect lots of sun. In addition, rain showers will be seen across the western part of our viewing area by daybreak, and the rain chance will progress east through the morning. By midday and especially the afternoon, everyone will have a chance for rain. Our radar may have a lot to show by this afternoon! The storm threat should stay south of our viewing area.
Rain will come to an end by tonight, but clouds will stick around Saturday morning. We will see a mixture of sun and clouds by Saturday afternoon. The wind chill will likely be in the 30s tomorrow.
We are still tracking a chance for rain and storms New Year’s Eve night.
