Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms are pretty much gone. Overnight lows will be in the mid 70s under partly cloudy skies. Some fog can be expected in the morning especially if you’ve received rain today.
Saturday: It’s as though we’re hitting the replay button over and over and over again! Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid 90s but the humidity will continue to make it feel much hotter. The real feel temperatures will be near 100 for some and higher than that for others. Take necessary precautions to keep cool. With this daytime heating, we’ll again see the threat for some gusty thunderstorms in the afternoon. Gusty winds around 40-50mph possible, frequent lightning and tropical downpours leading to minor flooding possible with any storm that develops. Like the last few days, these storms will weak rapidly especially the closer we get to sunset.
Saturday Night: Partly Cloudy skies expected with overnight lows in the 70s. No rain expected over night.
Sunday: Much of the same weather can be expected. Afternoon highs will be in the low 90s but it will feel like 100+. A 30-40% chance of afternoon showers and thunderstorms expected. Some of these storms again will have the chance of gusty winds, frequent lightning and tropical downpours.
Looking Ahead: Much of the same can be expected as we look ahead to next the next work week. Afternoon highs will be in the low 90s and it will be humid! The humidity factored in with the temperature will make it feel more like 100+. We’ll continue on the longest stretch of 90+ temperatures so far this year.
