Fundraiser Held at the Princess in Columbus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The Princess in downtown Columbus was packed Saturday night with supporters to help raise funds for one very needed family. Christopher McDill recently had emergency brain surgery after the finding out he had a tumor. Family and friends were able to come out in a show of support to help pay for the costly medical bills. A concert was held to raise money.

“I’ve been friends with the McDill’s for a long time, I’ve known them for a long time, I respect them as people and they’re just genuine wonderful human beings. They have hit this little tough time and I think it’s really great that the community is coming together and helping them,” says Jayson Triplet, a band member.

Donations were accepted from businesses and there was also a raffle for those in attendance.
