Funeral Services Set For Rep. David Gibbs

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – Funeral arraignments are set for State Representative David Gibbs.

The 19 year lawmaker died Sunday (1/13) at North East Mississippi Medical Center.

Visitation is Friday (1/18)  from 3 to 6pm at Third Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

The funeral is Saturday (1/19) at 11am also at Third Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church.

He will then be laid to rest at Burial West Point Memorial Gardens.

Representative Gibbs served in the house since 1993 and represented District 36, which include parts of Clay, Lowndes and Monroe Counties.
