Today: Actual temperatures during the afternoon will peak in the mid 90s but the heat index again will be in the low 100s. Take frequent breaks and stay hydrated if you will be spending lots of time out in the sun. Also be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen because the sun is at it’s highest point in the sky right now.
Tomorrow: Warm & humid conditions will persist on Thursday but we may see some natural relief in the form of showers and storms during the afternoon hours. The chance of rain will be the result of a cold front that will be slipping on through. Some of the storms could become severe with high wind and hail so it bears watching; however, not everyone will see a storm.
Late Week/Father’s Day: Slightly cooler and less humid conditions will take hold for a few days behind the front. Additional showers and storms may become more numerous by Sunday and early next week.
