Gun Possession Sentencing

ABERDEEN– A Moss Point man has been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment after pleading guilty in federal court to a pair of firearm charges.

In November, Miles Lloyd Taylor,31,  entered guilty pleas from crimes that took place in Chickasaw County. The charges were possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm of drug trafficking crime.

On Tuesday, Taylor was sentenced by U.S. District Court Senior Judge Neal Biggers. He was sentenced to five years on each charge and three years of supervised probation.
