Hamilton Post Office Educates Town About Breast Cancer

HAMILTON, Miss. (WCBI)- Over a dozen bikers took head out on the road to help raise awareness about breast cancer. The ride was a part of the second annual hamilton post office motorcycle ride. Purchases of breast cancer awareness stamps at the event will go towards finding a cure. Other activities such as live entertainment…door prizes…and guest speakers were also a part of the annual event. One organizer says she knows all too well the impact of the disease.

“I lost my sister last month to breast cancer and i realized the importance of educating everyone how important it is to get yearly checkups,” says Tawanda Tate, Hamilton Post Master.

The event continued until 7pm.
