Hamilton Woman Charged With Felony DUI, Possession of Controlled Substance
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus police say a 21-year-old woman was under the influence when she hit a truck and a school bus last week.
Hamilton resident Harley Thompson was arrested after Columbus Police Department (CPD) officers responded to a hit-and-run call shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday on Bluecutt Road.
Thompson allegedly hit a truck pulling a boat, left the scene and then struck a school bus near the intersection of Bluecutt Road and 7th Street North.
No children were on the bus.
Thompson was charged with DUI 3rd offense, possession of a controlled substance, driving on suspended driver’s license and leaving the scene of an accident.
Thompson’s bond for the felony DUI was set at $5,000.
