As of Thursday morning, rain was lining up along and just to the west of I-55. It is creeping along with an easterly component. There will be scattered showers through the morning and afternoon, but it may be late morning, this afternoon, or even this evening before you see the heavy rain. (Due to the slowness of the rain moving west to east, that’s why the time frame is so spread out.)
Scattered rain will continue overnight and into Friday morning, but the second half of Friday looks mostly rain free, and we may even see some peeks of sun.
Our next good chance for rain returns on Sunday. Some computer forecast models are hinting at a big rainmaker.
