Strong WNW winds will continue for the rest of our Thursday in the wake of the cold front that moved through this morning. Wind gusts between 40 and 50 mph have already occurred and a WIND ADVISORY remains in effect until 6 p.m.
Temperatures peaked in the 60s prior to daybreak and they will continue to fall into the low 40s by late this afternoon. Wind chill values will be in the 30s during the evening so you will definitely need that warm weather gear once again. Overnight lows will be in the upper 20s to around 30.
Bright sunshine and seasonable temperatures (what are those???) can be expected for Friday and Saturday. We’ll moderate back into the 60s early next week but that will come with the price of more showers and storms. Details are still blurry in regards to what we may see next week so we’re just broad brushing the rain chances right now.
