Holiday Weekend Forecast

Skies will feature a lot of sunshine on Thanksgiving but high clouds will drift in from the west as the day goes on.  Afternoon highs will range from the upper 60s to the low 70s and the wind will be light from the south.

A cold front will slip through our area Friday morning.  A few spotty showers are possible as it moves on by but we don’t expect much moisture out of this system.  Skies will clear during the afternoon and breezy NW winds will develop.  Afternoon highs should be in the 60s.

Saturday will start out around 30 degrees and temperatures will only warm up to around 50 by the afternoon.  Skies will be sunny and the wind will remain reasonably light.  Be sure to wear warm weather gear to the Egg Bowl Saturday evening because temperatures will be falling into the 30s.

Morning temperatures on Sunday look like they will be in the mid 20s but conditions should moderate back into the mid and upper 50s by the afternoon hours.  Once again skies will be mostly sunny.

Unsettled weather looks like it will return early next week.  Details remain sketchy  but our area may see some heavy rain and possibly some stronger storms if all the ingredients manage to sync up.  Nothing is set in stone just yet but we’ll keep you updated.
