Hudson Salvage CEO Dies From Storm Injuries

COLUMBIA, Miss. (AP) – The CEO of Hudson Salvage Center has died in an Alabama hospital of injuries sustained during the Dec. 23 tornado in Marion County, Mississippi.

The family announced the death of Mickey Hudson on Facebook and his death was confirmed by local officials.

Marion County Emergency Management Director Aaron Greer says the 71-year-old Hudson died about 3 a.m. Saturday at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, Alabama.

Marion County Coroner Norma Williamson says she doesn’t know the exact cause of Hudson’s death.

Hudson was the third victim of the tornado in Marion County and the fifth in Mississippi.
