The 27th Annual Slugburger Festival in Corinth from July 10-12 features a slugburger-eating contest, carnival rides, a variety of food vendors and musical performances.

The 26th Annual Sunflower River Blues & Gospel Festival in Clarksdale from Aug. 8-10 began in 1988 and is one of the largest blues and gospel festivals in Mississippi.
