Jalen Steele Suspended Indefinitely

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI/MSU Athletics) –Mississippi State coach Rick Ray announced Saturday afternoon that junior guard Jalen Steele has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.

MSU junior guard Jalen Steele has been suspended indefinitely for a violation of team rules.

The suspension is effective immediately, and Steele didn’t make the trip to Gainesville for the Bulldogs’ game against No. 2 Florida.

The Knoxville, Tenn., native has appeared in 13 games this season, starting 11. He missed eight games after fracturing his wrist against Florida Atlantic, and he’s currently averaging 9.5 points.

No further comment will be made.
