UPDATE Jogger Killed In Tupelo

The jogger hit and killed this morning in Tupelo this morning has been identified.

Lee County Coroner Carolyn Green says 64 year old Elizabeth Montgomery died from multiple trauma following the 5:40 A.M. accident.     Tupelo Police Captain Rusty Haynes says Montgomery was struck as  she jogged near the intersections of Lakeshire and Allyson  Drives in Tupelo.  The driver of the car which killed her has been taken into custody.  His name is not being released until formal charges are filed. That is likely to take place tomorrow.
