Lawsuit Settlement Reached Against Former Principal

ALCORN, Miss. (WCBI) — A settlement has been reached in the lawsuit involving Alcorn Central Middle School staff members and former principal Dan Burcham.

A U.S. District Court judge dismissed the case without prejudice last week because a settlement was in discussion.

Stephanie Eaton and Janet Walls laid claim that Burcham took inappropriate videos and photos of them and other women.

The plaintiffs alleged these actions caused psychological illness that required prescription medications.

Burcham was terminated in Feb. 2013 and had his educator license revoked in Sept. 2013.
