STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Americans are still in shock over the attacks in Libya at the U.S. Embassy that left four Americans dead, including US Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Protests and riots are emerging all over the Middle East. Muslims in the region are angry about an American-made film that mocks the Muslim faith. President Obama has vowed to capture those responsible for the killings and has increased diplomatic security world-wide.

MSU student Abdalla Sherif has lived in the United States four years and is a practicing Muslim.  He believes both the filmmaker and the attackers are to blame.

“When we saw the news on Wednesday, we were truly shocked and people didn’t really believe it at first. I think the people who made that movie are responsible, equally responsible for the death of Mr. Stevens and his colleagues and what happens now in the US Embassies in other countries,” Abdalla Sherif said.

The Islamic Society of North America has issued a statement condemning the attacks and Secretary of State Hilary Clinton stated that in no way is the United States government responsible for the anti-Muslim film that cost four Americans their lives.
