Video: Louisville Leaders Set Deadline for Littered Lots

LOUISVILLE, Miss. – (WCBI) Another meeting means Louisville is one step closer to rebuilding.

After the April 28th tornado, several lots in the city of Louisville were covered with rubble. Now that most of that debris has been cleared, there are still two lots that have been deemed dangerous.

Mayor Will Hill and alderman set a November 4th deadline for the owners to clear the lots.

They also discussed hiring a firm to attract new businesses and retailers to town.
Alderman also got their first glance at the city’s comprehensive plan, drafted by the Golden Triangle Planning and Development.
