Louisville Pulls Up Sleeves Following Severe Weather Outbreak

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (Press Release) — Louisville is trying to get a head start in addressing citywide issues following today’s severe weather outbreak.

The Family Assistance Center will open at Louisville Elementary at 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The city will also be accepting donations, and is looking for volunteers to assist in the aftermath. The Louisville Civic Center will be the epicenter of this effort, and will open Tuesday morning.

Law enforcement is also enforcing a curfew which started at 10 p.m. today, and will last until 6 a.m. Tuesday. The south and east side of Louisville is also shut down while emergency personnel continues their search for survivors.
