Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will stay with us for Tuesday, and we will heat up to the lower to middle 90s. Once you factor in all of the moisture we have in the area, the heat index will get close to 105. Stay hydrated while outdoors!
The best chance for afternoon showers and storms again comes around the Golden Triangle and south of that as well as into Alabama. The farther north and west that you live, the better chance you have to miss those pop-up summer thunder storms.
Saturday is what we are looking at for a cold front to come through. It is currently looking to increase our rain chances for the first half of the day. After its passage, morning lows will drop to the low 60s and highs to the low-mid 80s with drier air.
