Video: Lowndes Crash Injures Woman

Lowndes County, Mississippi (WCBI) – One person was injured in a two truck accident in Lowndes County on Friday evening.

The crash happened about 6 P.M. at the intersection of Highway 69 and Hildreth Road.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says a red Ford driven by Loyd Criddle, 74, of Columbus pulled out from Hildreth Road to Highway 69, in front of a Toyota driven by Katrina Porter, 33, of Columbus.

Volunteer firefighters cut Porter out of the truck.  She was taken to Baptist Golden Triangle with serious injuries.

Criddle refused medical treatment. The crash remains under investigation.
