COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — A Columbus man is being held on $41,412 bond for allegedly shooting into a crowd of people in a parking lot.

Columbus police say fortunately no one was injured when 35-year-old Kelby Dora opened fire as he drove by the A&D Bar and Grill on Highway 69 South Sunday.

An officer was at a nearby car wash when he saw Dora speed from the parking lot in a gold Ford Expedition with the trunk open, fire shots from his window and continue driving.

He was stopped nearby on Yorkville Road.

He’s charged with drive-by shooting, DUI and possession of a stolen gun. The gun was reported stolen from a vehicle in 2009.
