Man Injured in Weekend Shooting Dies

HOLLY SPRINGS, Miss. (WCBI) – Justing Bennet, 24, of Hickory Flat, died Monday morning from a gunshot wound he sustained during a weekend shooting.

Bennett was one of the three men shot Saturday night in a gas station parking lot in the 200 block of Martin Luther King Drive.

Based on surveillance video, investigators believe the shooter appears to be a black male wearing a mask.

He is also wearing a dark-colored t-shirt and khaki shorts.

All three men were transported to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis when the shooting occurred.
