Wesley Brandon

UNION COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Belden man faces up to 10 years in prison for his role in a conspiracy distribution scheme.

And 32-year-old Wesley Brandon could face even more time in connection with a fatal accident last year.

Brandon pleaded guilty in federal court to conspiring with four other people to distribute heroin in Union County. He faces up to 10 years and up to $1 million in fines when sentenced next year.

He also was indicted earlier this year on DUI death charges in connection with a May 14, 2011 accident that killed John Bell in Tupelo.
