MCSD Arrests 1 for Meth Precursors, Searching for Second Suspect

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — An ongoing investigation into a possible meth lab has yielded one arrest, and authorities are looking for a second suspect.

The investigation, according to a press release provided by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD), is focused on a possible meth lab in a residence on McDuffie Cemetary Road.

MCSD narcotics agents Friday arrested 35-year-old Hamilton woman Samantha Ferraro.

Per the release, Ferraro was charged with possession of two or more meth precursors with intent to manufacture. She is currently detained at the Monroe County Detention Center; her bond has not been set.

Authorities are also seeking the public’s assistance in locating a second suspect, 39-year-old Hamilton man Jonathan Cole. According to the release, Cole is about six feet tall, weighing approximately 174 pounds.

Cole is wanted for questioning regarding the incident.
