MCSD Arrests Becker Man on Burglary Charge

MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Monroe County man is behind bars following a burglary investigation.

According to a press release provided by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD), deputies arrested 24-year-old Becker resident William Clovis “Bubba” Cantrell on one burglary charge.

Cantrell allegedly burglarized a business located on Hwy 8 in Hamilton, where he is said to have taken $1,000 worth of “consumable goods.”

The name of the business was not known at the time of this post.

Cantrell is currently detained at the Monroe County Detention Center; bond has not been set.
