MCSD Nets 7 Drug Arrests Following Multiple Traffic Stops
MONROE COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Seven individuals are behind bars on drug-related charges following separate traffic stops.
According to a press release provided by the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, all of the aforementioned arrests were made Wednesday.
The following individuals, per the release, were arrested:
— 44-year-old Mooreville man Michael Langley was charged with possession of a controlled substance;
— 30-year-old Houlka woman April Roye was charged with possession of a controlled substance;
— 29-year-old Hamilton man Kristopher Meisenholder was charged with possession of meth and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon;
— 27-year-old Caledonia woman Christina Cantrell was charged with possession of meth;
— 22-year-old Booneville woman Ailey Shadburn was charged with possession of a controlled substance;
— 21-year-old Booneville woman Krystal Jackson was charged with possession of a controlled substance; and
— 23-year-old Booneville man Jeffrey Jackson was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Shadburn, Jeffrey and Krystal Jackson were arrested at the intersection of Hwy 45 and Mets Road; Langley and Roye were arrested on Hwy 278 East; Meisenholder and Cantrell were arrested on South Harmony Road.
It was not immediately known how many traffic stops were conducted, nor how many were arrested in each stop.
All seven individuals are currently detained at the Monroe County Detention Center; their bond has not been set.
