Meal Changes for Red Cross in Winston County

LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Sunday, May 11 was the last night for the Red Cross to serve supper in Louisville for the tornado victims.

The Citizens Bank located on 803 South Church Ave. will be serving a pulled pork sandwich lunch from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m., Monday through Friday of this week – all tornado victims and volunteers are welcomed.

Monday from 4-7 p.m., Mississippi Sen. Willie Simmons will host a supper for all victims and volunteers at Louisville High School.

Also, an Agriculture Disaster Recovery Center will be hosted by the Winston County Extension office on Thursday, May 15 from 1-4 p.m.

Information will be provided on recovery needs and other assistance following the wake of the EF-4 tornado that hit Louisville on April 28.

Representatives will be in attendance to answer any questions the public may have.

The MSU Winston County Extension office is located at 460 Vance St. in Louisville.
