MEMA Releases Updated Damage Reports

PEARL –The Mississippi Emergency Management Agency has received updated damage reports from 13 counties from severe weather that moved through the state Wednesday night and yesterday morning.

 

Damage reports by county are as follows:

 

Bolivar: Four homes destroyed, two with major damage, three with minor damage. Three businesses and three farm buildings were destroyed.

 

Coahoma: One home with major damage and one home with minor damage. One farm building with major damage. One injury.

 

Desoto: Two homes destroyed and one with minor damage.

Grenada: One home destroyed and one home with minor damage.

 

Leake: One home destroyed, three major damage and nine minor damage. One farm building destroyed.

 

Neshoba: One home destroyed, one major damage, three minor damage

 

Scott: Two homes with major damage and seven minor damage. One business with minor damage. One injury.

 

Sharkey: Six homes destroyed, one major damage and one with minor damage. One farm building destroyed. Five injuries.

 

Tallahatchie: One home with major damage and one with minor damage.

 

Tate: One home destroyed.

 

Union: Two homes destroyed, eight homes major damage, 16 homes minor damage. Four farm buildings destroyed and five with major damage.

 

Washington: One home destroyed, 25 major damage and 14 with minor damage. One business with major damage and 10 with minor damage. One school with major damaged.

 

Yazoo: One home with major damage.
