Video: MHP Trying to ID Pedestrian Killed in Union Co.

UNION COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Mississippi state troopers are trying to identify a man who was hit and killed by a car in Union County early Saturday morning.

Troopers say they were dispatched to mile marker 57 on Highway 78 at around 1:45 a.m.

They say it appeared the pedestrian was walking in the westbound lane, when he was struck by a car.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol says the man is white, appears to be middle aged, and was wearing a plaid shirt, khaki pants, and tennis shoes.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.
