Milam Elementary Principal Named District Administrator of the Year

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — An educator in Tupelo has been named the district’s administrator of the year.

Milam Elementary School Principal Paul Moton will be recognized for the award at the Tupelo school board meeting next week.

Last year, Moton helped guide Rankin Elementary to become an A-rated school, and this year he’s working to transform the Tupelo sixth grade school’s “c” rating in the same way.

Moton was selected for the award by his peers. He will represent the Tupelo School District in the contest for the State Administrator of the Year Award.

Moton is in his second semester as principle of Milam Elementary.
