After a night filled with rain, showers will linger in North Mississippi and West Alabama through Monday morning. Other than a few showers possible late, rain free skies should be seen by midday.
Morning hours will be filled with clouds, but some clearing looks possible this afternoon. Clearing will occur from west to east, so locations along the MS/AL state line may not see breaks in the clouds until late afternoon.
Temperatures will fall through the day. We’ll start in the 50s and be in the 40s by sunset. We should drop to the freezing point overnight as skies become clear.
Lots of sun returns for Tuesday, and it looks like after today, the next chance for rain will come during the middle of next week.
