It’s been another damp, dreary, and chilly May day across our area. The showers we’ve seen will go away this evening but we are looking at a lot of cloud cover during the night. Temperatures will bottom out in the low 50s and upper 40s by daybreak.
Tuesday looks like it will start out rather cloudy but I expect to see the sun become more noticeable as the day goes on. A stray shower cannot be completely ruled out but I’m going to keep the forecast dry for now. High temperatures will be in the low 70s.
The middle of the work week should be very nice and seasonably warm for a change. Skies will be partly cloudy and high temperatures are expected to be in the low 80s on Wednesday and the mid 80s on Thursday. This will feel like a heat wave after the chilly last couple of days around here.
Showers and storms will return Friday and Saturday as a slow moving cold front eases its way through the region.
