Monday: As we kick off the work week expect hot and dry conditions. High pressure will continue over our region bringing ample sunshine and keeping rain away. If you plan on spending time outdoors, remember to drink lots of water and take frequent breaks. Highs should get to the middle 90s, but feeling more like the upper 90s.
Monday Night: Low temperatures will hover the 70 degree mark tonight under partly cloudy skies.
Tuesday: The story remains the same for your Tuesday as high temperatures reach the low to mid 90s under very sunny skies. With all of this daytime heating, there is a small chance for an isolated afternoon pop-up shower; however, we are not seeing much to help kick off these showers, so for now I will leave rain chances out of the forecast. Overnight lows will hover 70 again.
Wednesday: Highs will be in the low to mid 90s again under more mostly clear skies. Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s.
Thursday – Friday: A weak cold front seeks to push through Thursday evening which will bring in some cloud cover and could spark a few late showers. The clouds and a couple of showers could linger until midday Friday. Cooler overnight temperatures and less humidity will be the noticeable effects of the front, but afternoon highs will only lower slightly to the upper 80s.
Looking Ahead to the Weekend: Though weak, the cold front will make for a nice weekend. Both the Bulldogs and the Rebels on the road, but if you’re watching from home expect for temperatures outside to be in the upper 80s. Overnight lows will drop into the mid to upper 60s.
