Video: Monroe County Chamber of Commerce Luncheon

AMORY, Miss. (WCBI)–Over 50 members of the Monroe County Chamber of Commerce gathered Tuesday for the organization’s annual meeting.

The luncheon opened with Executive Director Skip Scaggs welcoming all that were able to attend.

Brad Stevens was welcomed as the new incoming Chairman.

Rick Cleveland, the most decorated sports journalist in Mississippi spoke on the importance of working as a team.

The meeting served as a way to reflect on last years success, and how they plan to continue this success.

“We have had over 15 million dollars in new investments, 176 new jobs created but its also about looking to the future and trying to decide where we are going in the future. Trying to decided where we are going as an organization and how were going to keep and maintain the momentum to carry us forward,” said Monroe County Chamber of Commerce member Skip Scaggs.
