Video: Monroe County Sheriff To Host Mentoring Program

MONROE COUTNY, Miss. (WCBI)- Monroe County youth interested in a career in law enforcement will be able to learn from the men and women who wear the badge this summer.

The sheriff’s department is hosting a Summer Youth Mentoring program for one week in July.

Students will get an up-close look at the jobs of deputies, SWAT team members, investigators, and the K-9 unit.

The program is open to youth ages 10 and older who live in Monroe County.

Registration forms are available at all Monroe County, Amory, and Aberdeen schools.
