We’ll start Friday with a mix of sun and clouds. Through the day, most of us will become mostly cloudy. Areas of rain will work their way down from the north. Therefore, the farther north that you live (eg: Oxford, Pontotoc, Tupelo), you have a better chance of rain. The farther south that you go toward the Golden Triangle and south of Hwy 82, you have a better chance of staying dry or at least not seeing the rain until later. Highs will rise to the mid-upper 60s today.
Scattered showers will stay with us overnight, and we’ll also have scattered rain Saturday and Sunday. It’s not going to rain all day Saturday and Sunday, but some periods of rain will occur. Sunday is looking a little bit drier than it did yesterday. Hopefully this pans out, but keep a backup in mind just in case.
Highs will be around 70 Monday before dropping to the 50s on Tuesday.
