STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Life in the dorm has likely come a long way since you were in college.

Mississippi State has formally named its new state-of-the-art residence hall.

Until Thursday (4-4), Moseley Hall was known as South Hall.

It’s named in honor of Mary Lyn and Dr. Niles R. Moseley.

Dr. Moseley is a 1962 aerospace engineering graduate.

He is a retired broker with Moseley Investments and Real Estate.

Moseley and his wife have supported several major MSU scholarships and projects.
Dr. Niles Moseley says, “Well, we are delighted to have the building named after us. More importantly, we are delighted to be contributing to the scholarship program. That’s really what our fund and goal is. I could not have gone to college if I had not had some financial help.”

The four story building can house about 350 students.

They can enjoy individual private baths, controlled heating and air, wireless Internet access, refrigerators and more.
