Skies will stay mostly cloudy today, and highs will only make it back to the middle 40s. Additionally, a few stray showers may be seen today.
Thursday morning is currently looking mostly dry, but rain will enter Mississippi by the afternoon and stay with us through the evening. Rain amounts over an inch will be possible, and we may see some strong to severe storms. Right now, the greatest risk for severe weather is in SW Mississippi into Louisiana.
Friday morning will feature rain chances, but Saturday and Sunday are currently forecast to be rain free and we may see a good bit of sun as highs get back to the 60s.
More rain returns for Monday.
