Video: New MUW Students Move on Campus

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — New Mississippi University for Women students flooded the campus for the official move-in day.

The incoming freshmen were welcomed with helping hands to make the process a little easier.

Once the students are settled in, that’s when the fun begins with Welcome Week.

“Welcome Week is just a week of special activities that all the clubs and organizations do for the students on campus,” student Callie Hampton said. “Just allowing them to get familiar with the campus, new students, and their roommates.”

Blues Week kicks off Saturday night with a barbeque, and a paint party later in the week.
